Altenew July 2025 Inspiration Challenge!

I'm playing along with the latest Altenew Inspiration Challenge!

I happened to be working on some Artist Trading Cards for a swap when I checked out the post and the colours I was using were the same as the colour inspiration!

What are Artist Trading Cards? 2.5" x 3.5" cards that are handmade, unique works or a small series work of art that may be inspired by a theme which can be traded with others.

I used the Let's Go stamp and stencil, Grass Field and Shadow Creek Fresh Dye Inks, Vanilla Cream, Caribbean Sky and Sapphire Crisp Dye Inks.

I added stars with the Milky Way stencil and Pearl Shimmer Relief Paste.

It's really fun creating these small pieces of art, a great way to play with techniques and supplies!

Thanks for stopping by!

Altenew February Inspiration Challenge!

I'm playing along with the latest inspiration challenge at Altenew and created a card with the Zero-Waste Flowery Pattern 3D Embossing Folder.

Here's a close up look:

I embossed two panels, inking the embossing folder and then running a white card stock panel through the die cut machine to transfer the ink to the paper.

I fussy cut the florals from the second embossed white panel, inked with Aqualicious Fresh Dye Ink and then adhered to the first panel with Instant Dimension Foam Tape. I embellished with enamel dots and Satin Gold sequins after misting the panel with Iridescent Ink Spray.

Altenew January 2024 Inspiration Challenge!

So excited to play along with the newest Altenew Inspiration Challenge

Love this inspiration photo and I dug into my stash unearthed some stamped and heat embossed on vellum images.

I coloured the back side of the vellum with Altenew Artist Markers in Pure Graphite, Prussian Blue, Caribbean Sky, Olive and Bamboo and fussy cut.

I then created a background with the images on this card from my stash to incorporate the 3rd colour in the inspiration palette.

The sentiment is die cut with the Sweet Sentiments die set from black card and Sterling glitter card from the Gilded Glitter Cardstock set.

Thanks for stopping in and taking a look!

Altenew November Inspiration Challenge

Welcome here to my entry for the Altenew November Inspiration Challenge

It was so much playing with the Nordic Wonderland Craft Your Life Kit and Fresh Dye Inks!

I stamped the image in Jet Black ink and colored with the coordinating stencil and Tickled Pink, Ride the Wave and Be Grapeful Fresh Dye Inks. I then embossed with the kit embossing folder and added Stickles, a black glaze gel pen and some Studio Katia clear drops.

Thanks for taking a look!

Altenew January Inspiration Challenge

Hello!

Thanks for stopping by to take a look at my entry for the Altenew January Inspiration Challenge.

I appreciate and thank you greatly for your support!

With Valentine's Day around the corner I had my direction to use the Altenew Heart Builder stencil with Baby Pink and Coral Berry ink.
I used the Altenew Large ink tool to ink this up and cleaned the tool by inking all the excess ink on a piece of white card stock which I subsequently used to die cut with the String Art Heart Die. I fussy cut the heart  prior to adding embroidery floss.

I die cut the circle in the front of the inked card front, in addition to cutting the front of the card base too, with the large die in the Halftone Circles Nesting die set to create a "peek-a-boo" window. As well, I cut a circle from paper in the 6x6 Essential Rock Collection paper pack.

To finish this off, I cut "XO" from the same grey paper as the large circle with the Fine Alphabet Die set, adhered to the card front and outlined with a black fineline pen.

Once again, thanks for stopping by!

Happy Crafting!
