Altenew July Inspiration Challenge!

Hello!

I was able to demo the awesome Altenew Dreamy Daylilies 3D Embossing Folder & Simple Colouring Stencil during a recent live for Scrap Shotz and used the bright colours from the Altenew July Inspiration Challenge!

I hot foiled the sentiment with the Altenew Essential Sentiments Hot Foil Plate and die cut with the coordinating die, then inked with Tangerine Dream Fresh Dye Ink.

I finished it off with a few Altenew Satin Gold Sequins.

This month our Saturday Challenge themes for you are:
Ocean/Beach and/or Wild Card!

You can choose one or both...whatever inspires YOU!

I chose WILD CARD and used Hello Little One, Swirling Stars Stencil and the Ink of the Month Lovely Lagoon!

I mixed Lovely Lagoon ink with texture paste and applied it through the Swirling Stars Stencil on navy patterned paper.

The image is colored with Copic markers and popped up with foam adhesive over layered tags die cut with the Mama Elephant Fave Tags die set.

Your projects must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

Our Challenges are now combined with the 

Skrappy Challenge (first Tuesday of the Month)

and the Christmas Challenge In the Krafty Friends FB group! So feel free to enter any or all of these - the monthly prize is a $20 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

This weekend we are having a very special

RELEASE RECAP EVENT!!

I Copic coloured this cutie from Good Times & Tan Lines and popped up all the coloured elements with foam adhesive over the inked and heat embossed backgroud.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps July Skrappy Challenge!

 

 Good morning krafty friends! 

It's JULY, and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  

I stamped images from Gear Up to colour with the 4 Copic grey colour families and die cut with a Pinkfresh tag die to create a set of swatches featuring grey.

I labelled each image with the marker colours I used for the image.

I also included a swatch showing how to add shading/shadows with just one grey marker and one colour of marker.

I'll keep this swatch tag with my Copic makers for future reference! As the Gear Up set was used for a Kolour Along it'S on SALE at 40% off right NOW.
