Friday...

I love Fridays, the boys start school late and don't need a full lunch and this Friday was Special Lunch for Pey so we did not need to make lunch for her! That make for a relaxing morning, we all sat together for breakfast! Ray and the boys will be attending the CFL game tonight so Pey, Cole and I are just hanging out. I hope to get to some scrapping so here is my latest layout! I have been on a double page kick lately and I am THRILLED with how this lo turned out! Enjoy!

Layout Reveal Part 2

As I promised a couple of days ago, here are the remainder of the layouts I completed at the Scrapshotz crop last weekend. In all honesty, there is one layout that I finished and then completely dismantled and did over again so I actually didn't finish it until Tuesday but that's okay right?!

Patterned paper and stickers are from Echo Park's Summertime collection. I am really digging the kraft cardstock lately so of course that is the cardstock base I used on this.

This layout uses items from the Scrapshotz October kit in addition to Thickers and gems adhered with the iRock tool. Yes this is the layout I re-scrapped from last weekends crop.

I used Coredinations cardstock for the base of this, Basic Grey Marrakech patterned paper and "flower stickers" and the quote is from Creative Imaginations. I adhered a gem on the flower with the iRock tool and used Glitz alphas for Arizona.

I did not complete a large volume of layouts but I had a great time hanging out with my 2x/per cropping friends. I can't wait for the NSD crop in May!

Weekend Crop Projects

I had a great time at the Scrapshotz crop this past weekend. I spent the time working on our vacation photos from the spring and here are a couple of layouts.

This was a fast layout to put together. I used Sassafrass Lass pp, Cosmo Cricket Alphas and Jenni Bowlin stickers(stars).

This layout uses the Echo Park Summertime collection and my favorite alphas, Thickers!

Tune in tomorrow for the rest of the layouts!

Hello Tuesday!

I am greeting today and giving thanks for a few things too.

I am thankful to live in this city. I am thankful for the bus drivers who get my children to school and back safely. I am thankful to be a SAHM. I am thankful that my husband is coming home tonight.

It's amazing how my mood becomes peaceful when I stop and think about all I am blessed with and thankful for. Take time think about a few things you're thankful for today.

Happy Monday!

Why is it a happy Monday for me? I had a fantastic weekend spending all day Saturday at a crop so I am still in a great mood even though none of the layouts I am going to share were completed at the crop! Those are waiting to be photographed. Here is some of my latest work:

This layout was for a SSZ challenged to use squares. I love how it turned it out.

I love the photo on the lower left side of the boys patiently waiting for someone to come by for autographs.
On this layout I painted the natural wood brads with Glimmer Glaze. Very nice product and the pearls along the side are Imaginesence i-rock pearls adhered with the i rock tool.

The title card and pp's are from the Fancy Pants Happy Together line.

All these products are from the Bo Bunny Around the Block line.

I am really enjoying using Glimmer Mist lately. I also used OA Thrift Shop papers for the scallops on this layout.

More layouts to come when I get them photographed and uploaded!

Project 12-September

Reveal time for September Project 12 layouts is coming up and here is my September layout. I stuck fairly close to the sketch because I loved it so much!! Patterned papers are by SEI and Basic Grey, bling is BG as well. Rub ons and the paper strips are SEI, the alphas are Glitz.

I apologize for how small the image is, thanks for looking!

Happy Thanksgiving

Well it was disappointing watching the Stampeders get spanked by the Alouettes in CFL football today but I have these sweet photos to ease the pain! I took these yesterday at our Neustaedter Thanksgiving dinner and my nephew-in-law took our family photos for us so I am very excited to see how those turned out! Here are shots of my Thanksgiving subject, Cole:

Big sister Peyton also got in the frame:

Cousin Willa took Cole on the back deck to watch the train travel through the valley:

I did not get photos of all our family but we had a fabulous time with everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Belated Birthday

This boy was away camping with big brother and dad when his birthday came around so we did not have a party or even a cake until last week. It was a belated birthday cake and it was well worth the wait.

The cake was from Co-op and it was called a Bee Sting cake. There was layer of cream between the cake layers

and it was so yummy. Well worth the wait! Happy Belated Birthday Jack!

New Author (for me)

I recently checked out a couple of books from the library by Ted Dekker. I finished reading this one

It was very Criminal Minds-ish so a bit creepy but I found it to be a good read. I am now working on this one.
I am enjoying it so far and the best thing is the library has a few more books by this author I haven't read so I'll have a bunch to fill my reading time!

My Turn

Okay now I have the cold two of the kids had this past week. I am praying that it moves through my system quickly as I have to be out at baseball all day tomorrow. Enough complaining, it will run its course and I will be good as new!

Here is a card I just finished for a Card Tag over at Scrapshotz. I used papers from the October Scrapshotz kit. Patterned papers are Fancy Pants, cardstock is Bazzil. I edged the fussy cut flower with Glimmer Glaze and used Stickles on the dot pattern around the Cloud 9 Design epoxy word.

Oh yeah, the ribbon was from the box of cupcakes I bought at Crave Cupcakes this morning.

Have a great weekend!
