Altenew April Inspiration Challenge

Hello,

Thanks for popping in and taking a look at my take on the April 2020 Altenew Inspiration Challenge below:

I dug through my Altenew stash and settled on using the Altenew Building Blocks stamp set and Altenew Crisp Dy Inks in Peach Perfect, Cotton Candy and honestly I'm not sure what gray I used but I think it's either Silver Lake stamped a few times or Gray Denim.
I heat embossed the square stamp from the Geo Frames stamp set in Golden Peach Crisp Embossing powder.

I turned the square embossed image on its points and stamped the sentiment in the middle.
It's adhered with foam adhesive and then embellished with clear drops by Studio Katia.

Build-A-Flower Hellebore

Hello!

I am trying to make time to use the healthy stock of unused products in my stash and was finally able to play with the Altenew Build a Flower Hellebore stamp and die set.

I used foam tape to adhere the blooms to the inked and dotted washi taped card fronts.

A simple design to show off the lovely layered stamps I love Altenew for :).

The sentiments are from the Best Sentiments stamp set, the 2019 mini stamp set exclusive to customers who purchased directly from Altenew during the year.

Thanks for taking the time to stop in!

Heat Emboss and Fussy Cut Thank You

Hello!
I took some time to experiment with a few Altenew products to create this card:

I started this card by stamping the Altenew Pattern Play Circle background stamp with Altenew Embossing ink on white card stock. I then coated the image with Altenew Rose Gold embossing powder and melted the powder with a heat tool.

Next I stamped two of the three floral images from the Wallpaper art stamp set in Altenew Permanent Black ink over the embossed background. You want to give them a little bit of time to dry so the black ink does not rub off of the embossed areas when you fussy cut the blooms.

I stamped and fussy cut 3 blooms and added some light coloured pencil shading around the centre of two blooms.

Once I decided where my blooms would go I stamped the leaves from the Wallpaper Art stamp set in embossing ink and heat set with Rose Gold embossing powder. I also stamped and heat the embossed the sentiment as well.

I adhered the fussy cut blooms with foam adhesive, layering the left hand bloom over another fussy cut flower.
