Altenew Craft Your Life Project Kit: Florescence Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

I heat embossed the stamp with Rose Gold Crisp Embossing Powder on the opposite corners of an A2 vellum. Then I ran it through the embossing folder, adding Frosty Pink to the embossing, coating with Crystal Clear Embossing Power and heat setting. I've framed a heat embossed sentiment from the set with black cardstock and Gold Mirror cardstock frames cut with the Fine Frames Cover Die.

After embossing white card stock I "loosely" inked the raised areas with the mixed media ink and a Mini Blending brush.

I'm loving black spatters lately so I added some here with a Jet Black Watercolor Brush Marker.

The Simple Coloring Stencil included in this kit makes it super easy to color this fun image! 

After stamping both images with Jet Black Crisp dye ink I used Sunkissed, Orange Cream, Grass Field and Shadow Creek Crisp Dye Inks to color the images with the stencil.

I die cut white card stock with the Doodled Dots Cover Die, layered that over black cardstock and adhered the florals in the top left corner. Sentiment is heat embossed with Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder and adhered with Instant Dimension Foam Tape.

I've basically created the same layout for this card but in landscape orientation with the second corner of blooms in the kit. This time I've die cut white cardstock with the Ornate Cover Die and stamped the sentiment on white cardstock and also adhered with Instant Dimension Foam Tape.

Altenew Craft Your Life Project Kit: Fragrant Florals Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

You've already seen some wonderful projects with this newest kit from Altenew and I'm happy to share a few here with you.

I love the size of this image and created a 5x7 card. I die cut from white card stock and a rainbow of coloured card stock too.

I then fit the die cut into the 3D embossing folder and embossed it, this way all the details from the embossing folder remain sharp. I then used the coordinating stencil to and Detail Blending Brushes to add the colour with Crisp Dye Inks.

I then layered the die cuts in rainbow color order, trimming the edges after gluing each die cut down, spattered with Jet Black watercolour Brush Marker and finished with the hugs die cut from the Hello and Hugs set and Dazzling Diamond glitter cardstock.

It's super easy to create a gift set of cards with by just embossing the die cut and I created a few cards from additional die cuts cut from coloured card stock and embossed with the coordinating folder.

I applied Dotted Wide washi tape to an A2 card front, layered a red embossed die cut and then a sentiment stamped on white cardstock and matted on black cardstock.

I've done the same with an orange embossed die cut, just switching up the sentiment.

You've seen some amazing projects using the newest Craft Your Life Project Kit-Dynamic Blossoms and I'm thrilled to share some with you as well.

There are some really unique elements in this kit and I built a background with the some of the die cuts, just arranging the pieces on a white card front.

The image is stamped with Altenew clear embossing ink and then heat embossed with Rose Gold Crisp Embossing Powder and die cut with coordinating die.

While the vellum looks like it's been colored I have not added any color to it at all. 

I used the same dies for the following cards as the one above, inlaying the centre elements, red within gold and gold within red.

I inked blue card stock from my stash with Tanzanite Crisp Dye Ink and then used the large die to cut a focal element in the center.

I edged the die cut opening with Antique Gold Pigment ink and backed the opening with card stock from the Gilded Glitter card stock pack.

A white card front is inked via the 3D embossing folder-inking the folder and then running the card stock through a die cut machine. I then applied gold pigment ink through the kit stencil and then heat set with Crystal Clear embossing powder. 

It was fun to document my experience teaching at the first Craft Your Life Retreat with a craft your life kit!

I used both the layered stamps and stencils to add colour to the blooms and leaves.

I think this is my favorite Craft Your Life Project Kit so far, the roses are STUNNING!!!

Projects

I used the coloring stencil to randomly stencil the base layer of the roses in Buttercream ink and Warm Sunshine ink. I then applied the stencil masks over the roses and added the leaves in Sweet leaf ink. Friend is stencilled in Teal Cave ink and then the panel is embossed with the kit 3D Embossing Folder.

I've used the stamps, stencils and stencil masks to stamp and color this arrangement of roses using just one layer of the layering stamps. The "thanks" sentiment is inked with the stencil and Jet Black ink, the sentiments above and below are from the kit stamp set.

This card is created the same way as the one above with the exception of the "hello" die cut which is from the Circle Greetings Hello die.

These next two cards were created from one 8 1/2" by 5 1/2" sheet that has been embossed over the center of the sheet, inked with Mixed Media Pigment Ink and trimmed into two card fronts.

Wide Dotted Washi tape is applied along the bottom and the sentiment is stamped on white card stock and adhered over a strip of gold foil card stock glued over the seam.

After stamping the outline layer of the roses in Jet Black, I added Pink Pearl with the coloring stencil and then stamped the layers in Coral Bliss and Vineyard Berry.

I have been wanting to create an Inside Tunnel Card for quite some time since I first watched a tutorial by Jennifer McGuire and I took the plunge with this kit. 

You can see the layers built up starting with embossing the bottom layer with the Hello Beautiful 3D Embossing Folder which I've applied Clear Embossing Ink to the high points and heat embossed with Rose Gold Embossing Powder.

I really like the color combination of the Hydrangea and Andromeda ink with the Sea Forest from the Marshland set.
