Altenew Build-A-Flower: Giant Bellflower Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in total prizes)

It's the first of the month so time for the newest addition to the Altenew Build-A-Flower family!

Say hello to BAF: Giant Bellflower! If you'd like to guarantee yourself each new BAF release sign up for the Monthly Subscription Plan, now at 14% off!

If you're here from Bridget Casey's blog you are in the right place and if you need to start at the beginning you can head back to the Altenew blog HERE.

I stamped the outline image in Jet Black Crisp Dye ink and then created "custom" colors by mixing ink colors for each of the layers. The first layer I stamped with Iceberg and Wisteria Crisp Dye Ink, the second layer I stamped with Eastern Sky and Hydrangea and the last layer I stamped with just Ultraviolet Crisp Dye Ink.

The leaves are stamped with Sweet Leaf and Just Green ink, then the image is die cut with the coordinating dies.

It's a bit hard to see but the dots from the Cross Stitched Canvas die are filled with silver foil, an experiment with the aforementioned die and an old foiling machine I bought off Amazon quite awhile ago and have only just rediscovered in my craft room, lol.

I then stamped the outline image of the in the corners and inked with Buttercream ink. Sentiment is heat embossed with Rose Gold embossing powder and the floral is popped up with Instant Dimension Foam tape.

I used similar inks for this image but heat embossed the outline with Rose Gold embossing powder. So interesting how different the ink colours look with the different outline colour. I stamped the image 2x, cut with the coordinating dies and fussy cut a couple of the blooms to pop up over the full image.

Here you can see the added dimension on the blooms especially at the top right. This is also a great way to use images that may not be perfectly aligned when stamping, just layer the not so great ones underneath. These flowers are 3 layers with foam adhesive between each layer.

This time I added texture with the Dotted Swirls Debossing cover die, a little bit of black splatter with the Jet Black Watercolor Brush Marker and some Rocky Shore Crisp Dye Ink around the edges.

A Rose Gold embossed sentiment and Antique Gold Sequins complete this card.
