Hello Crafty Friends!

Happy Faces

I stamped three ornaments with the solid stamp in Volcano, Emerald and Mountain Pine ink and then die cut the detail layers from glitter cardstock.

Isn't that glitter paper fantastic? I created a photo mat from a 3d Embossing folder and layered all the elements over an ink blended background. Some silver thread and enamel dots complete the layout.

Supplies:

Introducing the DIY Watercolor Brush Marker, it comes empty and you can create a custom blend of colors. I mixed Purple Wine, Desert Night and a little bit of Iridescent Ink Spray within the DIY Watercolor Brush Marker to create the watercolored night sky background. I also added a little Emerald and Desert Night ink to darken the edges. I love the mist of water I get from the new Fine Mister, especially when adding water over watercolor ink, it doesn't blow the ink around.

I stamped and white heat embossed the houses on houses on watercolor paper and I love how they look like a row of cottages. layered the houses on the watercolored card front and then ran it through my die cut machine with the largest die from the Slim Nested Rectangles.

If you look closely you'll see I added some Sparkly Fluff on the billow of smoke coming out of the chimneys.

Supplies:

Thankful For You

This card features the Whirlwind Flowers layering stamp set which I've stamped and die cut the larger of the two floral images and three of the leaf images. I used the Simple Frames Mask Stencil to mask the outer edge to ink the inner portion with the new Shattered Cubes Builder stencil prior to embossing with the Simple Frame 3D Embossing Folder.

The edges of the frame are inked with Antique Gold Pigment Ink and sentiment from the stamp set along with a trio of Antique Gold Sequins complete the card.

The new Globe Builder Die is fantastic and has soooo many possibilities! You've seen some amazing projects earlier in the hop. I've create two shaker cards with the trees from the set.

These cards came together very quickly, the shaker frames are created with the Rounded Rectangles Die set, the starry sky is metallic watercolor splattered on the navy background. The shaker portion is adhered to a 3D Embossed card front and then the card base.

Sentiments from the Lovely Ornaments stamp set are gold heat embossed and then matted on glitter card stock.

Love the combination of the snow globe die set with the rounded rectangles, to make a different style of scene. The shapes of the trees look great with the rounded corners. I also like the slimline houses - 3 in a row to make a village - sweet.
