January 2024 Skrappy Challenge!

   Happy New Year krafty friends! 

It's January, and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

This is a great challenge to motivate me to work in my mini-art journal I started at the end of last year.

I stamped and pencil coloured this cute image from the Dino-Mite stamp set. I glued two journal pages together then watercoloured the background. I then inked the hills with the Krafty Scenery 4 stencil and Mossy Meadow and Fresh Fields Hybrid ink.

The sunbeams are created with the Summer Sunbeams stencil and Pumpkin Patch ink.

After fussy cutting the image I glued it to the page with liquid adhesive, inked the stamped fussy cut sentiment with Blue Bay ink and finished off the page with some Studio Katia Irisdescent Stars.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Saturday Challenge #681 Hearts

  Good morning and welcome to another

fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps !

Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing?

This week, I am your hostess and my challenge theme for you is: 

HEARTS!

 I created the background with the Lots of Love Stencil, Bashful Blush Ink and Sizzix Crystal Glaze. The shaker portion is made with the Waffle Flower Nesting Hearts Die and paper from the January Add On Bundle.

The star of the show is this super cute image from Lumberjack and Jill which I've Copic colored and then fussy cut and popped up over the shaker frame.

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

Color Throwdown #599

Playing along with the latest Color Throwdown challenge. 

I created a cloudy background with the challenge colours and the Lawn Fawn Cloudy stencil for my copic coloured images from the MFT Sushi Date stamp set.

Altenew July 2018 Inspiration Challenge

Hello!

How has your summer been? Mine has been lovely so far, I even had time to play along with the Altenew July Inspiration challenge. Here's the inpisiration photo:

I was so inspired by the colours and the geometric images on the cathedral. I pulled out my Altenew Pattern Play Hexagon set and stamped the background with Permanent black crisp dye ink which is alcohol marker friendly.

I then coloured in the hexagons with Altenew alcohol markers alternating Morning Frost, Arctic and Desert Night (WG01, R902 & B227)

I then die cut the panel with Hero Arts Infinity circle dies and adhered to a grey card front. The sentiment is stamped in Versafine Black Onyx ink and then heat embossed on vellum. A few Studio Katia black onyx crystals.

This next card was also inspired by the colours in the inspiration photo. This Altenew Monochrome washi tape is perfect to use for this challenge!

Another sentiment from the Altenew Birthday Greetings stamp set is sandwiched between fussy cut florals from the washi tape. All are adhered to a grey card front then a white card base. Studio Katia black onyx crystals and clear drops add some shine.

This is my first time participating in this challenge and I hope to find the time to do it again next month!
