Altenew July 2018 Inspiration Challenge

Hello!
How has your summer been? Mine has been lovely so far, I even had time to play along with the Altenew July Inspiration challenge. Here's the inpisiration photo:

I was so inspired by the colours and the geometric images on the cathedral. I pulled out my Altenew Pattern Play Hexagon set and stamped the background with Permanent black crisp dye ink which is alcohol marker friendly.

I then coloured in the hexagons with Altenew alcohol markers alternating Morning Frost, Arctic and Desert Night (WG01, R902 & B227)

I then die cut the panel with Hero Arts Infinity circle dies and adhered to a grey card front. The sentiment is stamped in Versafine Black Onyx ink and then heat embossed on vellum. A few Studio Katia black onyx crystals.

This next card was also inspired by the colours in the inspiration photo. This Altenew Monochrome washi tape is perfect to use for this challenge!

Another sentiment from the Altenew Birthday Greetings stamp set is sandwiched between fussy cut florals from the washi tape. All are adhered to a grey card front then a white card base. Studio Katia black onyx crystals and clear drops add some shine.

This is my first time participating in this challenge and I hope to find the time to do it again next month!

Thanks for stopping by :)

Altenew Artist Markers| AECP Class: Creative Colouring With Artist Marker

This is the latest class I have completed in the Altenew Educator Certification Program. I actually own the stamp in one of the lessons and was excited to put it to use! I purchased these Artist Markers a while back when they were on sale so this class was a great reason to spend some time working with them.

I began by stamping this image from the Forever and Always stamp set in Permanent Black Crisp Ink which is alcohol marker friendly.

I coloured the florals using markers from all 3 sets and following the very helpful Project 3 video lesson in the class. Image is then fussy cut and adhered with foam adhesive to add dimension. I then stamped a portion of the card base with the Hexagon Pattern Play stamp. Sentiment is from the Beautiful Inside stamp set.

A few Studio Katia clear drops complete the card.

Thanks for stopping in and taking a look!

Wednesday Challenge-Red, White and Blue 07/04

Hello!

It's my first time playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. I'm on vacation and brought along some yet to be used SSS card kits and a few crafting supplies.

I stamped the SSS Floral Bliss large image in the corners of this square piece of card stock using the Gina K wreath builder stencil and Altenew Permanent Black Crisp Ink. I filled in areas with the bud stamp and circle stamp from the set as well.
The images are then coloured with the challenge colours, red and blue; leaving some white-space as well, with Altenew Artist Markers.
The sentiment is stamped with the Ranger Archival Ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Unfortunately I forgot to bring along my stash of gems and sequins so I'll have to add those to the card when I return home.

Thanks for taking a look!
