I'm back with a couple more projects for the Altenew January Inspiration Challenge!

January Mid Month Inspiration #676 Birthday and/or Sunrise/Sunset!

   Good morning and welcome to our  

Monthly Saturday Challenge Mid Inspiration Post

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! 

We are back today with an inspirational post showcasing more ideas to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing!

This month our Saturday Challenge themes for you are: 

Birthday and/or Sunrise/Sunset!

*You can also choose to use sunrise/sunset colours instead! Here are two colour palettes to start you off!

You can choose one or both - whatever inspires you!

Our Ink Of The Month, which will be on sale all month long is the gorgeous Precious Pink Ink Pad, Ink Cube and Reinker! Grab it now to add to your collection..

I'm hosting the mid-month inspiration challenge and inked up a card front with sunrise colours!

I inked up white card stock with the ink of the month, Precious Pink, Luscious Lemon, Morning Marigold, Blue Bay and Incredible Indigo.

I then added decoFoil Transfer Gel Duo through the the first layer of the Krafty Tools Layering stencil, let dry and foiled with decoFoil Shattered Silver foil. I repeated the process with the second layer and foiled with Heidi Swapp Rose Gold Minc foil.

A white heat embossed sentiment and Copic coloured image from the Krafty Mice stamp set finish off the card! 

Every month we post a brand new challenge with two themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

This month's challenge will remain open until January 31st!

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

Our Challenges are now combined with the 

Skrappy Challenge (first Tuesday of the Month)

and the Christmas Challenge In the Krafty Friends FB group! So feel free to enter any or all of these - the monthly prize is a $20 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps January Release Hop & Shop!

Woohoo!!! 

Today we are celebrating all the fabulous new goodies in our January Release that are NOW available in the

 Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

and we're excited to share it ALL with you in a fabulous krafty HOP!

Next, we have a precious swan set by

artist Neda Sadreddin

 and it's called.....

You're Swan-derful!

This is such a fun set to build a scene and I dug into my stash and used the Altenew Pond Builders die for the pond, embossing it with the Altenew Ribbon Waves 3D Embossing folder. The border and leaves are watercolour paper coloured with Lavinia Dinkles Pine Green powder.

I then die cut the leaves with the Lawn Fawn Slimline Tropical Leaves Border die. The frame is die cut first with the Pink Fresh Studios Blanket stitched rectangle die and then the Lawn Fawn Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Window die.

The clouds are stencilled with the Krafty Scenery 4 stencil and Designer Denim, Mostly Melon and Aqua Adventure ink.

And lastly, we have a punny food set

 called...

So Punny 2!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps January Krafty Peeks...Day THREE! So Punny 2!

 Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the January Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a fabulous new set 

by artist Michelle Houghton

 called...

So Punny 2!

These cute foodie images are going to be awesome to use on your cards and scrapbook pages! But then add the adorably cute eyes and a punny sentiment for even more fun! If you love this set, be sure to check out the original So Punny in the shop for even more fun!

The sentiments in this set are so fun and I Copic coloured pb&j, fussy cut and layered over a Simon Says Stamp die from my stash!

I inked some white pigment ink behind the stacked die cuts as well.

Next up is a card combining the new Falling Hearts stencil and So Punny 2!

I hand drew some "sesame seeds" for the bun and Copic coloured the images. After fussy cutting I hayered them over a background stencilled with the Falling Hearts stencil and Simon Hurley Lunar Paste.

This is a layering stencil so if using paste, make sure to let the first layer dry completely before stencilling the second layer.

Kraftin' Kimmie January Krafty Peeks...Day TWO! You're Swan-derful!

 

   It's Day TWO of our January Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!?  Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

The stamp set we are 'peeking' for you today is from 

artist Neda Sadreddin

 and it's called.....

 You're Swan-derful! 

These sweet swans and their accessories are going to be perfect for so many occasions! Mother's Day, Anniversary, Valentines or a special, swan-derful friend! 

I stamped and Copic coloured the swans, reeds and lily pads from the stamp set and fussy cut.

I built a scene with some Hello Bluebird dies from my stash and the Krafty Scenery 4 stencil for the clouds.

I also stamped and white heat embossed the "splash" and water ripples from the set on the inked pond.

Altenew January 2024 Inspiration Challenge!

 

So excited to play along with the newest Altenew Inspiration Challenge! 

Love this inspiration photo and I dug into my stash unearthed some stamped and heat embossed on vellum images. 

I coloured the back side of the vellum with Altenew Artist Markers in Pure Graphite, Prussian Blue, Caribbean Sky, Olive and Bamboo and fussy cut. 

I then created a background with the images on this card from my stash to incorporate the 3rd colour in the inspiration palette.

The sentiment is die cut with the Sweet Sentiments die set from black card and Sterling glitter card from the Gilded Glitter Cardstock set.

January 2024 Skrappy Challenge!

   Happy New Year krafty friends! 

It's January, and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

This is a great challenge to motivate me to work in my mini-art journal I started at the end of last year.

I stamped and pencil coloured this cute image from the Dino-Mite stamp set. I glued two journal pages together then watercoloured the background. I then inked the hills with the Krafty Scenery 4 stencil and Mossy Meadow and Fresh Fields Hybrid ink.

The sunbeams are created with the Summer Sunbeams stencil and Pumpkin Patch ink.

After fussy cutting the image I glued it to the page with liquid adhesive, inked the stamped fussy cut sentiment with Blue Bay ink and finished off the page with some Studio Katia Irisdescent Stars.
