Snow/Stencils

You can choose one theme or combine them!

It's a Choose Your Own Krafty Adventure!

I've used the Sweet Snowflakes stencil to create this card.

I used a Ranger Embossing Dauber to apply clear embossing ink through the stencil on a piece of coloured card stock, then heat embossed with Altenew Antique Silver Embossing Powder.

I inked the edges with Mermaid Melody and Incredible Indigo inks.

Every month we post a brand new challenge with a choice of themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

I chose to use the Leafy Mandala Stencil to create this simple but stunning card.

I've concentrated the Weeping Willow Lunar Paste in the center and then added Slippery When Wet Astro Paste around the outer areas.

I finished it off with a sentiment from the Hey There Punkin set.

I've used both themes on this card!

I Copic coloured this cute image from Safari Fun and used the Summer Sunbeams stencil as a guide to pierce stitching holes with my craft pick.

I then handstitched embroidary floss and mounted the panel on a stitched rectangle die cut.

A few Studio Katia black crystals add a little shine to the card front.

The brand new Falling Hearts Layering stencil is perfect for this challenge!

I inked both layers of the stencil with Simon Hurley Lunar Paste, Prom Queen for the first layer, and then Cookie Dough for the second layer. 

Once dry, I inked the panel with Kraftin' Kimmie Pink Pizzaz ink, buffing the paste after to remove any excess ink.

Krafty Girl Tamara is hosting our challenge! We take a little break over the holidays so we will not be posting a mid-inspiration post this month, but you can still enter all month long!

I love the Build-A-Snowman stencil and decided to experiment colouring the snowmen with Copic markers. I outlined with the stencil then coloured in the shapes. I turned the stencil over to create the snowman facing left and the background is created with the 3 "buttons" in the stencil, Aqua Adventure, Festive Fuchsia and Lucky Limeade inks.

Thoughts of Winter always include Christmas so I created this card for the challenge!

I Copic coloured one of the images from North Pole Helpers and popped it up with foam adhesive over a Lunar Paste, Frozen Fractals stencil and Originals Ovals stencil background.

The sentiment is from the Perfect Poinsettias stamp and inked with Kraftin' Kimmie Wicked Black Ink. Crystal Stickles and some Spellbinders Silver Mix Essential Gems add some sparkle and shine to complete the card!

I created this background with Nuvo Shimmer Powders on Distress Watercolour Paper. I then stamped the image and sentiment with embossing ink, coated with white detail embossing powder and heat set.

I finished it off with a few pearls from my stash after matting on grey cardstock.
