Layout Tag

We just wrapped up another edition of layout tag at Scrap Shotz and here's my contribution:

patterned paper Elle's Studio, cs Bazzil, banner & alphas OA, blooms Prima, mist Dylusions, butterfly & frame LYB, stars Studio Calico

I 've been having problems getting a good photo so it's really hard to read the title. It says "She's Raking In the Money". You can see what everyone created here .

Scrapbook Challenges Sketch 352

I worked with this sketch from scrapbookchallenges.com and created this layout of my little first year ball player:

I used my circle cutter to cut the rings and circles out. The number, banner, flags and word stickers are Fancy Pants Little Sport, the dot paper and woodgrain rings are Basic Grey Hey Boy.

I love how it turned out!

A Scrapbook Challenge...

The Creative Team at Scrap Shotz has posted our Summer Challenges , click on the link to see our challenges.

My challenge is to use a quote as the title or to journal your layout and you can find links back to quote websites here .

Here's the layout I created for this challenge:

The cardstock is good old reliable Bazzil; patterned paper is Teresa Collins Sports EditionII-yes I have hoarded this line and bought papers on clearance at my local scrapbook store, it has been my most favorite and used Sports papers-the manila colored paper is actually a 12x12 canvas paper in the line.
Die cuts are Creative Imaginations & Fancy Pants.

Would love to have many play along with our DT challenges, just click on the link above, prizes are available as well!!

Project Life>>Week 28 & 29

Getting close to being completely caught up on this project!

Week 28
I used this page protector style Design F for the first time on week 27, lots of space for 3x4's and as I had a few 4x6 items, I cut them down to span 2 pockets. Love how it turned out!

Week 29

As this week ended up falling on the right side of 2 pages, I added a 6x12 AC insert to hold the title card, more photos, journaling and a portion of the boys' tournament schedule and the map I used to navigate to Whitecourt.
Here is the week with the insert opened up:

I have the next few weeks printed out and I am so excited to use some of my brand spanking new PL products!!

Project Life>>Catching Up

It's been quite awhile since my last post. I've been enjoying the summer with my family :)

We wrapped up the baseball season a couple of weeks ago with my boys' team winning the provincial championship for their division. One of the boy's attended a "Mobile App Developing" camp at SAIT last week and we just wrapped up a weekend sleepover at our home with a cousin.

So it's time to "catch up" on Project Life, sort of ;)) (I have a couple of weeks to finish and another couple of weeks to print to completely catch up).

Week 19

Week 20

That's all my completed PL weeks so far. If you have any questions regarding supplies used leave a comment and I will answer your question!

Project Life>>Week 18

Another week in the life of our family. A baseball tournament for the boys but only one night away. Mom's yearly scrapbooking dat at the Scrap Shotz National Scrapbooking Crop, the top right photo is a card I created to show off the new Die-Versions die "Celebrate" for Scrap Shotz.

My little girl baked a whole bunch of cookies so the boys were happy having a sweet treat for the next few days. The stars on the yellow cardstock are a stamp from a Studio Calico kit, stamped in Wild Honey Distress Ink, a great way to fill in a plain space.

Week 19+ to follow soon!

Project Life>>Week 14 and 15

Another PL post here's week 14

and week 15
You'll notice on week 15 I didn't have a dedicated space for a journal card so in addition to writing directly on a photo I added the journaling on the photo via stickers and cardstock. Love the flexibility of this project.

More Scrap Shotz June Kit Projects

I promised a couple more kit projects and here they are!

This is a canvas I created with an 8x10 canvas which is misted with Mr.Huey's Sunset mist over a Prima lattice mask. The individual canvases are from Michaels and the canvas in the lower left is stamped with the American Craft June kit stamp and wild honey distress ink, the middle row rectangle canves is misted with GlimmerMist Sun Sisters mist and the top left rectangle canvas is misted with Mr.Huey's Lemonade mist and Prima Crackle mask.

I created the large blossom with the Spellbinders spiral blossom die and the leaves and flowers have been misted or painted with GlimmerMist, Mr.Huey's Mist and Art Anthology Dimensional Paint and Dimensional Crystal.

This card is also created with the June Scrap Shotz kit supplies. You can't really tell but the butterfly has been brushed with GlimmerGlaze Fine Glitter Paint in Icicle.

Thanks for stopping by for the last of my Scrap Shotz June kit projects. I hope you've been inspired!
