Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Krafty Peeks Day TWO! I BEE-lieve in YOU!

Well, we are back with MORE fun stuff!

Today we are spotlighting a new stamp set from artist Sabrina van Vloten called I BEE-lieve in YOU!

Look at those adorable fluffy bee bums!!

I used Kraftin' Kimmie Hybrid inks in Amazing Azure, Mermaid Melody and Purple Petunia with the NEW layering stencil. I chose these colours as they coordinated with the Copic colours I used to colour the bees. I added Crystal Stickles to the wings on the stenciled area and the Copic coloured wings.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Krafty Peeks Day One! Floral Fun!

 Who's ready for some brand new Krafty Goodies?

It's time to bring you NEW stamp sets and layering stencils
from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

In case you haven't heard, we are moving the release to every other month but the same number of wonderful products!

So we will be sharing FOUR new stamp sets (including a summer Krafty Komeback) and TWO new sets of layering stencils over the course of this week!

Today we are excited to kick things off with a stunning and elegant stamp set from artist Michelle Houghton called 
FLORAL FUN!!  

It's always a kick when my project is featured in the release marketing!

I Copic coloured all the florals from Floral Fun and cut them using my Brother ScanNCut. 

I'm still learning the machine but it is super helpful for this girl who does not enjoy fussy cutting! I layered the images over this die cut from the Altenew Create-a-Wreathe die set.

Here's a close-up look at all the white gel pen and black fineliner details as well as a few Nuvo Clear Drops on the daffodil.

Down On the Farm is a fun Krafty Komeback set and I had a blast colouring this in with Copic markers. I used the colours below

As well as YG67, G17 and G28.

I layered the fussy cut image over Memory Box Woodsy Plaid 6x6 papers cut to size. This is a fabulous masculine paper pad!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps April/May Release Recap!

 

 

This weekend we are having a very special

RELEASE RECAP EVENT!!

In case you missed it, our most recent release featured
FOUR brand new stamp sets and TWO sets of layering stencils
and we're going to celebrate them today!

First up we have a blog hop and I crafted this CAS card just for this recap!

This image is a great size to be the star of the card front! I Copic coloured the slice from the Fruity Fun and added some details with a white gel pen. I created a shadow under the watermelon with a grey Copic marker.

Sentiment is stamped from the same set and I inked around the edges with the Ink of the Month Tranquil Teal!

Pretty Pink Posh Confetti complete the card!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps May Skrappy Challlenge!

 Good morning krafty friends! 

It's MAY, and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  

I have a new mini art journal entry for the challenge!

This was fun to create, I "stamped" Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Hybrid Ink Cubes in Flirty Flamingo, Blue Bay, Luscious Lemon, Soft Sage, Aqua Adventure, Lavish Lilac, Glorious Grapefruit, Cool Cantaloupe, Incredible Indigo, Purple Pansy and Tranquil Teal. 

I then outlined the page and some of the squares with a fine tip black marker, just doodling randomly.

Copic coloured fruit from the Fruity Fun stamp set is layered over the background and a sentiment from the set is stamped directly on the page. I also coated the images with Star Dust Stickles and Nuvo Crystal Glaze.

I'm using "Something New" and "Something Blue" combining the Fruity Favourites stamp set along with No Chill and Dart Frog Lunar Paste. This is a fun technique where you spread a thick layer of paste in an embossing folder and let it dry. Once dry peel it out of the folder and you've got a fun textured element for your card front!

Every month we post a brand new challenge with two themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like. This month's challenge will remain open until the end of the month!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps April Krafty Peeks Day FOUR! Hello Little One!

  Good morning and welcome to our FINAL day of April Krafty Peeks!

Today we are previewing our last stamp set that will be releasing TOMORROW!

This one is from artist Sabrina and is called

HELLO LITTLE ONE!

Eeeeek!  So cute!!  It features all those fluffy little stuffies that kids and adults alike LOVE! (Who is in love with Jellycats or Squishmallows? heehee)

These sweet little "stuffies" are so fun to craft with and such a fun card for to welcome a new little one!

I Copic coloured, die cut with by Brother Scan n' Cut and layered layered them on a Neon Lunar Paste die cut card front. I added some highlights with a Gelly Roll .08 White Gel Pen.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps April Krafty Peeks! Day TWO - Fruity Fun!

Well, we are back with MORE fun stuff!

Today we are spotlighting a new stamp set from artist Michelle Houghton called FRUITY FUN!

Who doesn't love fruit?
  And fruit plus puns.....equals tons of FUN!

This is such a great stamp set! I wanted to use all the images on one card and use a new die in my stash as well!

The die is Gina K Designs Master Layouts 14 which I cut first from kraft card stock, then stamped the images through the coordinating stencil and pencil coloured with Prismacolor pencils.

I stamped the sentiment on kraft card stock as well and adhered with foam tape.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps April Krafty Peeks Day ONE! Fruity Favourites!

  Who's ready for some brand new Krafty Goodies?

It's time to bring you NEW stamp sets and layering stencils
from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

In case you haven't heard, we are moving to release every other month but the same number of wonderful products!

So we will be sharing FOUR new stamp sets and TWO new sets of layering stencils over the course of this week!

Today we are excited to kick things off with a super SWEET stamp set from artist Sabrina van Vloten called FRUITY FAVOURITES!!  You may remember her design called Fall Favourites from last autumn!  You loved it so much that we expanded on this yummy theme!

ALSO we have a coordinating set of layering stencils which is super FRESH!

It's called FRESH FRUIT!

I pulled out my Copic markers to colour this fun image from the set!

I added highlights with a white gel pen and adhered the image with foam tape over an embossed die cut I cut with the Spellbinders Postage Edge Oval Dies. The card front is a piece of patterned paper from the Fairy Hugs Craft Papers Thunderglow 6x6 paper pad.

I tucked the sentiment strip I stamped with black ink just under the caterpillar's antennae, using foam squares on either end spanning the glass.
