Kraftin' Kimmie August Release Blog Hop!

  Woohoo!!!

Today we are celebrating all the new fabulous goodies in our August Release that are NOW available in the

 Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

I've done some inking with the newest ink and Falling Leaves stencil, added some Krafty Dots and a Rose Gold charm from the add on bundle.

If you look closely you'll see I also stamped some leaves from the Fall Breeze set in Versmark ink prior to inking the panel for a subtle watermark effect.

All five of our new stamp sets, plus two new stencils and a new hybrid ink colour were released yesterday along with our exclusive ADD-ON BUNDLE, 

and we're excited to share it ALL with you in a fabulous krafty HOP!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps August Krafty Peeks...Day Five! Hay You!

  Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the August Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a fantastic set

Neda Sadreddin called...

HAY YOU!

This fabulous Fall set is perfect for all your Autumn projects and with lots of fun sentiments you'll be using this set to send lots of hello's.

This guy is coloured with Copic markers, fussy cut and adhered inside this die cut card front with foam adhesive.

I inked a 4" x 5 1/4" white card stock piece with the Kraftin' Kimmie Tire Tracks stencil and Kraftin' Kimmie Cool Cantaloupe Hybrid Ink, then rotated the stencil 90 degrees and inked with Pumpkin Patch Hybrid Ink.  

After inking the card base with Cool Cantaloupe Hybrid ink, I stencilled Picket Fence Succulent Green Paper Glaze through the Kraftin' Kimmie Falling Leaves stencil, then set aside to dry. 

During drying time, I die cut a circle from the stencilled piece, added foam adhesive and then layered over the card base. Scarecrow is adhered with foam adhesive just tucking the bottom edge under the die cut area and the top edge just over the same circle.

My most favourite part of this set is that one of the sentiments is curved so it fits perfectly over the die cut circle:

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps August Krafty Peeks...Day Four! Squirrel Friends!

   Today is our fourth day of Krafty Peeks for the August Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are sharing a fabulous set from 

artist 

Becky Pearce and it's called.....

SQUIRREL FRIENDS!

These sweet squirrels are so perfect for all your Fall projects and they will warm your heart with their thankful sentiments!

I cut the card front and openings with the Photoplay #6 Build A Window Say It With Stamps die set. 

The background is inked with a cloud stencil from my stash but this Krafty Scenery Stencil is perfect for achieving the same result.

I added leaves with the Falling Leaves Stencil and Picket Fence Succulent Green Paper Glaze and the panel is then layered over a card base that is inked with Kraftin' Kimmie Cool Cantaloupe Hybrid Ink.

Two of the squirrels are adhered with dimensional foam adhesive and the sentiment on a banner die cut from the same Photoplay die set.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps August Krafty Peeks...Day Three! Fall Breeze!

   Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the August Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are 'peeking' a fabulous set 

from artist Michelle Houghton

 and it's called.....

FALL BREEZE!

We're so excited to bring you this gorgeous set of leaves and beautiful sentiments that is going to be a must have Fall set!

I Copic coloured the leaves and the background as well, the images below accurately showcase the colours in this card.

I don't have a smooth blend on this background but I don't mind because it adds some depth to the leaves.

The sparkle on the leaves is Cosmic Shimmer Sunset Orange Opal Blaze Polish included in the add on bundle. A scatter of Dazzling Dots completes the card front and I edged all sides of the card base with Kraftin' Kimmie Mossy Meadow Hybrid Ink prior to adhering the card front.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps August Sneak Peek...Day One! A Krafty Comeback, Witch Way!

   Who's ready for lots of brand new Krafty goodies?!

It's time for our August Release Peeks to begin 

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today's featured set is a Krafty Komeback set

These images were originally released in rubber,

and we're so excited to bring it back in clear for you!!

This bewitching set features two fabulous freaky friends with several awesome sentiments and two spooky seals - perfect to celebrate with for Halloween!

This fun girl is super easy to colour with copic markers and I layered her over purple glitter card stock cut with a hexagon die.

After inking the white card stock with the new Cool Cantaloupe Hybrid Ink, I added DecoFoil Gel with the Tire Tracks stencil and, once dry, ran through my Minc machine with black foil.

Kraftin' Kimmie August Skrappy Challenge...Anything But A Card

 Hello Krafty Friends!

It's August and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

I'm excited to share my very first project as a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Design Team member 😊.

I've created a journal to track my workouts. I scored a 5 1/2" tall x 9" wide piece of white card stock at 4 1/4" and 4 1/2". I then taped the Semi Circles Stencil over the front and added the Wonderful Waves Stencil over top then stencilled with Designer Denim. I then taped the stencil circles over the wave stencilling, adding the Krafty Kaidescope Stencil over top and inking with Amazing Azure Hybrid Ink.

I stamped these cute koalas from The Wild Side stamp set and coloured them with W1,2,3,4 and 6, R000 and R21. The bamboo is coloured with E25, E50, YG41 and YG67. B22 is used on the clouds and Y02 and YR20 for the sun. I fussy cut all the images and glued them to the front cover, using one of the clouds to title the journal.

The inner pages are A5 planner inserts from my stash and I trimmed the holes off, rounded the corners and folded in half. I added stencilling to the inner pages with the Rugged Rope stencil and Amazing Azure Hybrid ink. 

I then pierced along the fold with the bookbinding guide and piercing tool from the We R Memory Keepers Journal Book Binding Punch Guide. I folded the cover along the scored edges and also then pierced stitching holes down the centre. 

The final step is to stitch all the layers together and the journal is done!
