More SEI Fun!

The Scrapshotz October kit was packed full of SEI goodness and I used it to create a couple of cards for Design Team Challenges :

I even pulled out some SEI from last years Scrapshotz kit for a Scrapshotz Card Crew Challenge :

Big News!!!!

I can now officially call myself a scrapbook designer!!!

I was honoured to be invited to join the Creative Team for a one year term at Scrapshotz , a Canadian monthly kit club I've been subscribing to for the last 3 years. I remember the day I talked to my husband and asked him if he'd be okay with me signing up for a monthly scrapbook kit club. Our 4th was just a few months old and this was one of my dreams come true, to join a kit club.
Now I'm designing for Scrapshotz and I'm so thrilled!

SEI JULY SKETCH AND LINK PARTY

I printed out this great sketch by Julie Bonner at the beginning of July from SEI and just got to it on the last day of July ;) . Julie has the best sketches and while I ordinarily struggle making layouts with my SEI papers on my own, I have no trouble when I used Julie's sketch, thanks Julie!



I am so pleased with how this turned out. All products are SEI except the cardstock which is Bazzill.

This layout is about how my daughter would love to have a pet cat but two of us in the family are allergic to cats so no go ;). I know it's hard to tell but there is a cat in the photo, honestly!!!
Thankfully Uncle Gerry has lots of cats at his house so she can go over and play with them whenever she wants.

I've been enjoying playing along with sketch challenges lately and was excited to use the SEI June sketch .

Here's what I came up with:

The cardstock is Bazzil, all patterned papers are from the SEI Moonrise line. Alphas are SEI Poppy. I put my Tim Holtz Mini Rosettes die to good use and the journal block is a die cut is a Moonrise diecut that had a quote in french on it. I knew I would not use it so I flipped it over and used the backside for journaling. I've also placed the small green rosette over a distracting outlet in the photo so you don't see it anymore :) .
